Caroline Mazzola of Poor Farm Road recently completed the Frontiers Program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which was held from July 11 to 23, 2010.
Frontiers is a two-week summer residential program for more than 180 soon-to-be high school juniors and seniors interested in science, mathematics, and engineering. Mazzola completed the Biology & Biotechnology program, which exposed her to real-world problem solving using a variety of hands-on laboratory techniques. Mazzola will be entering her junior year at Bromfield this fall.
