Bobby Hazel
of East Bare Hill Road took first place in the “expert” wakeboard division in the INT Wakeboarding Competition held in Marlborough Saturday, June, 26. This was his first competition in the INT League, known as the “Little League of water sports,” which was started in 1993.
Wakeboarding is a sport in which a rider on a board similar to a surf board is towed behind a motor boat and rides the boat’s wake using techniques borrowed from water skiing, snow boarding, and surfing.
