The Bromfield girls track team posted three victories in the District E Relays held at Agonquin Regional High School April 24, in the 4×400-meter, 4×800-meter, and 800-meter sprint relay events.
The 4×400 team, made up of Margaret Kibbler, Sydney Durand, Kim West and Mimi Narbonne, finished with a time of 4:04, one of the fastest times in the state thus far this year.
The 4×800 team, of Maddie Beckman, Emma Rothkopf, Sophia Collins, and Alexia Lipman won its event with a time of 10:15.
Narbonne and West also teamed up with Moriah Arnold and Alyssa Johnson to win the 800-meter sprint medley relay, the final event of the afternoon. Kim West led off the race running the 200-meter leg and passed the baton to 100-meter runners Arnold and Johnson before Narbonne took the stick through the final 400 meters to bring home the victory and set a new District E Relay record in a time of 1:52.5.
