Kirsten Wright is a longtime Harvard resident who is dedicated to education. She has served two years on the Hildreth Elementary School Council and has held teaching positions in middle school, high school, and special education throughout the last 30 years. Kirsten has also taught in less formal educational settings, such as scouts and Destination Imagination. These experiences give Kirsten a unique perspective on education.
During the past 23 years of Kirsten’s residence, Kirsten has reached out to this community through volunteer work with elderly lunches, regular church responsibilities, solid attendance at town meetings, and various child-related town activities. To me, these activities evidence Kirsten’s energy for this town.
I have worked beside her in groups and seen that Kirsten is a responsible and committed group member. She makes a conscious effort to become informed and initiates and supports collaboration. Kirsten is thoughtful, knows her own mind, and is very willing to listen and discuss differing opinions. She will bring a fresh perspective to the School Committee. For all these reasons, I hope voters will join me and vote for Kirsten for School Committee.
