Today, Saturday Dec. 5, I made my weekly visit to the dump, rode up the hill, dumped my trash, rode down the hill to perform the disposal of paper, metal, plastic and glass and attempted to leave an article in the “take it or leave it” section at 12:25 p.m., when the wizard in the tower hollered it was too late! Too late? Too late to leave something another person there might have found useful? I didn’t see any sign that limited the amount of time necessary to leave something amongst the other useful articles that another patron might have found … well, useful.
