H1N1 flu clinic schedule announced
Collen Nigzus, nurse for the Harvard School Department, has announced these upcoming H1N1 flu clinics:
- Monday, Dec. 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: St. Anthony of Padula Parish Hall, 31 Chapel St. in Shirley
- Wednesday, Dec. 30,12:30 to 2:30 p.m.: J.R. Briggs Elementary School, 96 Williams Road in Ashburnham
Vaccine will be administered in accordance with the guidelines from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to: all persons 6 months to 24 years of age; pregnant women, up to 2 weeks post-partum (including after pregnancy loss); household contacts and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months of age; household contacts of pregnant women in their third trimester, to ensure their newborns go home to a safe environment; and health-care personnel with direct patient contact.
