Survey draft presented
Finance Committee member Lori Granville presented a draft report analyzing the committee’s recently-completed survey.
The survey was developed and distributed in August with multiple purposes―getting voters thinking about budget issues early, finding out where satisfaction is high and where it is lacking, and soliciting improvement ideas for boards and departments to consider in developing their fiscal 2011 budgets.
According to Granville’s draft, 271 people completed the survey.
Discussion concluded with a plan to revise the report based on comments and discussion, and to review it again at the Dec. 16 meeting, after which it will be published on the town website. Members will share parts of the survey results with other boards and departments so they can be used in developing budgets.
