The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden on Bolton Road has announced that Carole A. Nathan of Hopkinton has joined the Healing Garden as executive director. Nathan brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in both the nonprofit and private sectors, focused on the medical arena. She has extensive operational, management, and development experience from many years as the executive director of the Lown Cardiovascular Research Foundation in Brookline. Prior to Lown, she served in positions at both Noble Hospital and Commonwealth Mortgage Company. She holds an MBA from Simmons College, School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Salem State College
