What a magical night Oct. 31 was this year. A full moon and warm temperatures set the scene for a fabulous evening of trick-or-treat fun. I would like to thank all of the generous people who live on and around the Common for opening their doors and greeting our trick-or-treaters. From the pumpkins along the cemetery wall to the spookily decorated houses, haunted firehouse, and fantastic parade of unique costumes, our children were treated to a terrific evening of Halloween fun. Thank you to all of the people who made this possible. I would personally like to acknowledge and applaud the patience, effort, and creativity of townspeople who, year after year, have made Halloween in Harvard a most memorable event.
