Bill is a tireless worker who has brought significant benefit to the town through his hard work on the Bare Hill Pond Committee—where he chaired and managed the project to build the new pump-house—and more recently through the FIAT committee, where he worked with other town residents to craft and propose viable long-range solutions to Harvard’s structural budget problem.
Bill works well with others. He is respectful of all positions on every issue, and he is able to forge meaningful consensus out of different points of view. This rare skill is precisely what we need to move Harvard ahead on the significant issues confronting our town.
Having Bill Johnson on the Board of Selectmen assures us that no effort is spared in maximizing our revenues, harboring our local resources, and supporting excellence in our schools (where most of our money gets spent). It would be wonderful to have someone as dedicated and versatile as Bill Johnson to serve us all, and I invite voters to support Bill’s candidacy for the Board of Selectmen on Dec. 8.
