Thanks for Fall Festival support

October 9, 2009

On behalf of the Harvard Lions Club I would like to thank everyone who supported our annual Fall Festival fundraiser this year either by attending our event, being a sponsor (see the list below), or by donating time and materials. This fundraiser event was another great success because of those who continue to support our efforts each year. I would also like to send out a special thanks to the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. for its generous financial support, Tony Shaw (Toreku Tractor & Equipment), Mike O’Malley (Harvard Outdoor Power Equipment), and Calvin More (Moore’s Lumber) for sharing the use of their equipment, Gregg MacKenzie for his continued support in lighting and powering our event, the Carlsons for cold storage facilities before, during, and after the event, the Harvard Press for its help in promoting the festival, and last but not least to Bill and Nancy Hazel for not only the use of their farm but for everything else they do that goes unnoticed in making our Fall Festival so successful.

This year’s complete list of sponsors includes: TP Hazel Sotheby’s International; Stop & Shop Supermarket Co.; Carlson Orchards; Herb Chambers; Harvard Outdoor Power Equipment; Moore’s Lumber Co.; Nashoba Vision Associates; SC Technical Services, Inc.; Response Microwave, Inc.; Rollstone Bank; and Sorrento’s Brick Oven Pizzeria.

Once again thanks to all who helped make this event such a big success.

John Drummey, president
Harvard Lions Club
