Meghan Suzanne Powderly, daughter of Richard D. Powderly Jr. of Still River Road and the late Suzanne M. Powderly, and Gregory James Bates, son of Joan and Terrence Bates, were married Sept. 5, 2009 at the Worthing, England registrar office. Powderly graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in communications and a minor in psychology. Bates, who graduated from Southampton University, in Southampton, England with a degree in history and education, is employed as a client services manager at Sovereign Credit Management. The couple resides in Horsham, England.
