Harvard resident Marie LeBlanc was honored by Women in Development (WID) at an award dinner held Oct. 7 in Worcester, recognizing her for her volunteer efforts. LeBlanc was nominated for the volunteer award by Fruitlands Museum and was chosen by the WID awards committee.
LeBlanc serves as an overseer and is on the executive and nominating committees at Fruitlands Museum; she is president of the Friends of the Harvard Council on Aging; she volunteers for the Harvard Parent-Teacher Organization’s book fair, the Fall Fete, and the teacher appreciation dinner; she is a lector and greeter at the Harvard site of Holy Trinity Parish; and is secretary of the Central Middlesex Chapter Women’s Council of Realtors group. Besides devoting her time to volunteer efforts, LeBlanc is the owner of Transitions Liquidation Services, Inc., a business offering property downsizing and move management.
