Frank L. Zupancic, 54, passed away suddenly on Oct. 23 while working in Rhode Island.
He was born in Cortland, N.Y., Oct. 29, 1954 the son of the late Frank and Cora (Seamans) Zupancic. He was raised in Harford Mills, N.Y. Frank attended Clarkson University and Rutgers University and held B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics.
He was employed since 1978 at Raytheon Company, where he progressed through positions of increasing responsibility, rising to the level of director of systems engineering in Tewksbury.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman, spending his leisure time hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and rock climbing, He was a skilled carpenter and woodworker who took pride in his workshop and home projects.
His survivors include his wife, Lee Zupancic; his children, Kaitlin, Laura, and Michael Zupancic, all of Harvard; a brother, Nicholas Zupancic, of Cortland, N.Y.; and two sisters, Barbara Short of Salyersville Springs, N.Y., and Margaret Martin of Norwich, N.Y.
Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. in Littleton, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 29, from noon to 2 p.m., followed by a funeral home service at 2 p.m.
