A Pinnacle Road resident called at 5:15 a.m. to report a loud motorcycle in the area. Police have deployed extra patrols in the area because this has been a regular occurrence on that road. Someone stopped at the station at 10:37 a.m. seeking information about a harassing phone call. A custodian at Bromfield called at 8:39 p.m. to report hearing someone on the school’s roof. Police checked the school, but did not find any prowlers.
Wednesday, September 9
A Park Lane resident called at 12:47 p.m. to report that people were walking around outside his house. Police checked the area, but found no one. At 12:50 p.m. a Lancaster County Road resident reported finding spent ammunition shells on her property. Police determined that the casings were “years old.” An officer on patrol at 1:37 p.m. stopped on Poor Farm Road to investigate people in a field. The people turned out to be landscapers working on the property. A student having an allergic reaction to peanuts was transported from the Bromfield School to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 3:01 p.m. An Oak Hill Road resident called at 10:22 p.m. to report having received a strange phone call. The ambulance transported a man from an Ayer Road residence to Emerson Hospital at 10:50 p.m.
Thursday, September 10
At 3:35 p.m. police received a report of a car being driven erratically near Pinnacle Road and Park Lane. They checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle. Someone stopped at the station at 3:40 p.m. seeking advice about a former employee. At 11:07 p.m. an officer on patrol observed a car being driven erratically on Still River Road, headed toward Bolton. The officer traced the car’s plate number to a Clinton resident, and notified Bolton police to watch for the vehicle.
Friday, September 11
At 12:21 a.m. an officer on patrol on Poor Farm Road stopped to investigate people at a school. The people were from a cleaning company working at the school. A Slough Road resident called at 10:03 a.m. to report concerns about a slow-moving, older-model white car traveling on the road. She said it was similar to a car that she believed had been following her the previous week. An Ayer Road resident called at 6:40 p.m. to report that an unfamiliar car had been parked near the end of his driveway for quite awhile. Upon investigating, police found it belonged to someone who was waiting for assistance because the car had run out of gas.
Saturday, September 12
At 1:10 a.m. Harvard officers assisted Boxborough police at the scene of an arrest by waiting for a tow truck. An officer on patrol at 2:44 a.m. stopped to investigate people in a yard on Ayer Road, but found they were residents at the property. At 12:47 p.m. a caller on Ann Lees Road reported receiving harassing phone calls. The ambulance transported a man from Dunkin’ Donuts to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 5:53 p.m.
Sunday, September 13
At 9:18 a.m. a caller reported losing binoculars at the town beach. A caller reported at 11:47 a.m. that motorcycles traveling through town were speeding. Police determined that the motorcycles, which were part of a 50-bike ride, were not speeding. At 12:22 p.m. police provided a traffic detail for a 300-bike motorcycle ride traveling through town. A caller from Little Rascals farm stand on Ayer Road reported that someone had stolen apples, pies, and cash from the honor-system stand. The case is under investigation. At 7:48 p.m. a Still River Road resident reported that a slow-moving, dark-colored van was driving by her house.
Monday, September 14
At 3:58 p.m. a caller reported that his mother, who lives on Lancaster County Road, had seen someone peering through her windows several nights during the week. Police are increasing patrols in the area.
