Former Selectman Leo Blair will be sorely missed in Harvard. We were so lucky to have him lead our town through so many important issues. Anyone in town who experienced last December’s ice storm would have seen Leo’s dedication and devotion to help anyone in need. He played a big part in our town’s avoidance of an override two years in a row.
We have a lot of thanks and praise for this volunteer, who approached every issue with the time and diligence required to make it happen. Whether or not people agreed with his methods or style, it cannot be denied that he was passionate about what he believed in and tried to get things done to the best of his abilities. He is a dedicated and devoted man who volunteered his valuable time, when so few people step up to the plate to volunteer and then ask so much of our leaders to make everything right. He approached all the issues with a sincere desire to improve and correct and listened genuinely to both sides to come to an informed compromise for all parties concerned.
