Michael Knoll of Old Mill Road, a senior at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I., has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2009 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 without receiving a grade below a B in that semester.
Samuel Roth Potter, son of Louise Potter of Littleton Road, was named to the dean’s commendation list at Gettysburg College. This distinction is reserved for students whose semester grade-point average ranges from 3.3 to 3.599.
