The Harvard Hunger Resistance Movement, comprising 32 people, completed the 20-mile Walk for Hunger in Boston on Sunday, May 3, and raised approximately $7,000 for Project Bread, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Massachusetts. The Walk for Hunger is the oldest continuously operating pledge walk in the country. Proceeds from the walk support more than 400 emergency food programs across the state.
