Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast
Harvard’s 13th annual Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast will take place Monday, May 25, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., before the parade. Community members are invited to join friends and neighbors at the Harvard Unitarian Church Fellowship Building for yogurt pancakes, sausages, juice, and beverages. The breakfast is sponsored by the Harvard Unitarian Church, for the benefit of Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry at Devens. Suggested donations are $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12. Net proceeds, plus 100 percent matching funds, will benefit Loaves & Fishes. (5/22)
Peter Pan
The Bromfield Drama Society will present Peter Pan Friday, May 29, Saturday, May 30, and Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m., in Bromfield’s Cronin Auditorium. The musical will feature Rebecca Turner in the lead role as Peter, Emma Caitlin O’Rourke-Friel as Wendy, and Conor Davy as Captain Hook. Actors will fly through Never, Never Land with the assistance of the stage flying company Flying by Foy. Tickets, available at the door, are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens. Indian Hill’s Open Mic
The Indian Hill Music School will present an open mic night for adults age 18 and over hosted by singer/songwriter Nancy Brule, Friday, May 22, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the school, 36 King St. in Littleton. Oxbow Bird Hike
Friends of the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge will sponsor a bird walk led by Lancaster birding enthusiast Steve Sutton, Sunday, May 31, from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge, Still River Depot Road. Applewild School Play
Applewild School sixth- and seventh-graders will present 26 Reasons Not to Be in a Play Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m., in the school’s Alumni Center for the Performing Arts, 98 Prospect St., Fitchburg.
