Jim Dowson of Simon Atherton Row was named a distinguished engineer at the second annual EMC Innovation Conference held in Franklin Oct. 21 to 23. EMC’s distinguished engineers, who demonstrate ongoing, deep expertise in one or more technical domains of importance to the company, are selected from 42 nominees through a panel review process against the following criteria: technical expertise, leadership, business impact, and effectiveness as a technical mentor.
