Harvard Girl Scout Troop 641 would like to thank each and every voter who made a contribution to the Election Day and mock Election Day food drive for Loaves and Fishes. We collected close to 300 donations of nonperishable food items and $200 in cash donations for the food pantry. We are grateful to Principal Jim O’Shea and the Bromfield School for allowing us to hold the food drive during the elections. We also thank our local businesses who supported our efforts by displaying our signs, especially Adam Horowitz and The General Store, who also made a donation in-kind. The wonderful community-wide generosity in support of Loaves and Fishes proves that one contribution can make a difference.
