Do you have daylilies that you need to divide but just do not know what to do with them afterwards? How about donating them to the playground at Harvard Park?
There are weeds galore all along the inside and the outside of the fence at the playground and they are difficult to control. With the help of volunteers, we are planning on rototilling along the fence and planting donated daylilies to beautify the area and help keep down the weeds.
Anyone who would like to donate is invited to bring as many daylilies as they like down to the Harvard Park playground Saturday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. If you want to stay and help plant for awhile, that would be great too. If you cannot make it on the 18th, please contact Amy Jackson, thejacksonfive@charter.net, to coordinate your donation.
