Tuesday, June 3: At 10:07 a.m. a woman who was backing her car out of the driveway on Old Littleton Road backed into a motorcycle. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued; the motorcycle was hauled away.
Wednesday, June 4: A large truck knocked over a stop sign in the center of town at 2:31 p.m. It was stopped and the driver was issued a citation by police. The Department of Public Works was notified about the sign. Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Ann Lee Road at 3:18 p.m.
Thursday, June 5: Someone stopped in at the station at 9:51 a.m. to report a road rage incident on Ayer Road. At 3:50 p.m. a deer escaped injury when it was hit by a car on Ayer Road. The car sustained minor damage. While on routine patrol at 5:58 p.m., a police officer observed a parking issue on Poor Farm Road, due to a party taking place there, and advised people to move their cars.
Friday, June 6: A man called the station at 1:56 p.m. to report that someone may have hacked into his son’s Facebook account and put pornographic material there. He was advised to change the password to the account. While on patrol at 9:38 p.m., an officer saw a car parked at the overlook on Prospect Hill, and asked the driver to move along. A subsequent check of the car’s number plate revealed that the driver was wanted for a mental health issue. Police issued an alert to other area departments to be on the lookout for the car. It was located and stopped by Boxborough police.
Saturday, June 7: A caller on Poor Farm Road reported a suspicious-looking person on that road at 2:44 a.m. Police found it was a man who had just left a party. He turned down the ride they offered. A woman on Finn Road was taken to Emerson Hospital by ambulance at 11:03 a.m. with Advance Life Support on board. At 12:50 p.m. the ambulance responded to a call from a Stow Road residence, where a man had fallen. The person refused transport to the hospital. A spate of fire alarm calls around town between 11:32 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. were believed to have been caused by Saturday’s heat and humidity. A caller reported at 3:47 p.m. seeing a large truck speeding near Shaker and Littleton roads. Police alerted Littleton police to be on the lookout for the vehicle.
Sunday, June 8: At 7:20 a.m. a caller reported that a car had “driven donuts” in a corn field at Willard Lane and Still River Road. Police responded, but did not locate any vehicles in the area. Someone was transported to the hospital from a Prospect Hill Road address at 11:15 a.m.
Monday, June 9: The driver of a car on Ayer Road was stopped for a traffic violation at 1:32 a.m. and was issued a summons after police discovered the presence of a Class D substance in the vehicle. A larceny at Bromfield reported at 2:31 p.m. is under investigation by police. The ambulance responded to a medical call at an East Bare Hill Road address at 7:52 p.m.
