| 8:45 a.m. | 5-mile road race (rain or shine), starts and ends at Bromfield |
| 9:45 a.m. | 1-mile fun run, starts and ends at Bromfield |
| 10:30 a.m. | Judging for children’s bicycle-decorating contest on the Common |
| 11 a.m. | Parade down Mass. Ave., with Lois Watt as grand marshal. Parade starts at Depot Road and ends at the new library. |
| Noon | Flag-raising ceremony, library lawn |
| 12:15 to 3 p.m. | Field events, library lawn: pie-eating contest, greased pole, duck pond, lollipop walk, candy scramble, relay races, sack races, three-legged races, egg toss |
| 1:30 p.m. | Firemen’s mini-muster |
| 3 to 5 p.m. | Beach events: candy dive, bobbing for apples, water balloon toss, more |
