Former Harvard resident
Ursula H. ( Roggenkamp) Blanc of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Wolfeboro, N.H., formerly of Harvard, died at her home in Wolfeboro May 12, 2008 at age 66.
Ursula was born in New York, N.Y., the daughter of the late Paul G. and Erna Roggenkamp. She received a B.S. degree from Queens College and M.S. degrees from Hunter College and Northeastern University. She worked as a research chemist for Park Davis in Ann Arbor, Mich., a chemistry teacher at Walton High School in New York, and a patent searcher and German patent translator for Texaco in New York.
Ursula enjoyed participating in activities at the PGI Civic Association and had many friends in Punta Gorda.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frederic Blanc; her son Paul Blanc and his wife, Sandra, of Milton, N.H.; her daughter Heidi L. Green and her husband, Eric, of Somersworth, N.H.; and grandchildren Nina Green and Giovanni Green.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday, May 17, at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Congregational Church, 5 Still River Road in Harvard, with burial following at Bellevue Cemetery on Still River Road. Arrangements are by Badger Funeral Home of Littleton.
