No shades of gray for Bromfield’s class of 2012

May 9, 2008

Bromfield’s eighth graders enjoyed a “Black and White” dinner dance last Friday night. The idea for the evening originated with middle school art teacher Sharon Chandler and was the culmination of many months of students designing decorations and artwork, all from black and white recycled materials. 105 of the 109 students in the class of 2012 attended the event.

Alyssa Swindells and Stephanie Shea arrive in black and white attire.

Decorations, all made by students, were a study in black and white.

Avery Berryman, Sam Shephard, and Jack Michaels make their way in to the dinner.

Principal Jim O’Shea serves dinner to Sarah Andrews, Declan Dean, Taylor LeBlanc, and Anna Hadorn.

Matthew Chambers signs thank you gifts for Chef Paul Correnty and art teacher Sharon Chandler, who came up with the idea of the dinner dance.

Favors included specially printed black and white M&Ms.
