I am writing to support the election of Virginia Justicz to the School Committee in Harvard. As a kindergarten parent, I have been consistently impressed with her thoughtful and well-reasoned approach on School Committee. Her willingness to dig into the detail—whether it means understanding School Committee policies and procedures, enrollment studies, or lobbying the state for additional funding—illustrates her commitment to ensuring that the Harvard public schools remain among the state’s top-performers. Her solid academic background, with degrees from Harvard University and Tuck School of Business, coupled with her willingness to listen to all concerns and her pragmatism will serve the School Committee—and Harvard—well.
