We would like to urge voters to support Virginia Justicz for School Committee on election day. Virginia has established an impressive track record during her relatively short tenure on the committee. She’s actively supported efforts to seek equitable state funding by meeting directly with the governor’s education representative, as well as supporting the work of the Suburban Coalition and attending statewide lobbying events on Beacon Hill. Virginia’s spent many hours compiling educational data about Harvard and neighboring communities and has used her business background to crunch the numbers and grapple with the budget realities faced by our schools. She serves on the Strategic Planning Committee and Capital Planning Committee, served on the FinCom Study Committee, helped organize the recent Volunteer Fair, and is an active volunteer in the schools. Please recognize Virginia’s tireless advocacy for our children and our town and vote Justicz for School Committee.
