We need selectmen with a proven ability to get things done. I saw Ron Ricci’s ability to achieve results when I was on the Finance Committee. With the other water commissioners, Ron presented a multi-year, affordable plan to upgrade the town’s water system. The plan was implemented and actually accomplished. Ron’s life experience as a small business owner and naval officer, as well as his town experience as a water commissioner and member of the group which built the Bare Hill Pond pumping station, all demonstrate his ability to achieve measurable results.
We need selectmen who listen carefully to others and treat everyone with respect. We need selectmen who work cooperatively with citizens of all views, not just those with whom they agree. All who know Ron Ricci are impressed with his unfailing politeness and thoughtfulness. Ron’s work on the Community Preservation Committee has shown his ability to work productively with people of varying views. The town needs a selectman with Ron’s abilities. I urge the citizens of Harvard to vote for Ron Ricci for selectman.
