The coming election, Tuesday, April 1, is perhaps one of the most important for the town of Harvard in recent years.
The town needs forward motion on many issues. For years we have observed the phenomenon of studying issues to death, “analysis paralysis” as it was described in a recent newspaper editorial.
To get forward motion we need a change in the majority of our Board of Selectmen. Three out of five is a majority and we have three outstanding candidates running for three open seats: Leo Blair, Ron Ricci, and Peter Warren. All of them are successful businessmen and are well-practiced, by necessity, in money and personnel management. In short, they understand what happens when important, timely decisions are not made.
I urge residents to vote for the team of Blair, Ricci, and Warren to bring about the change the town needs.
