I am impressed by the homework Marie Sobalvarro does on the issues. She has studied the town archives to understand where Harvard has come from so as to better plan where we want to go as a town. Her analytic skills enable her to distill the complex issues we face together into clear, distinct choices upon which we can act. With the specific knowledge of our town budget that she has gained during her two years on the Finance Committee, she is perfectly poised to step into a position of leadership as selectman.
A leader with Marie’s incisive knowledge and proven ability to collaborate is what Harvard truly needs right now.
