Valeska Ross, executive assistant to the Board of Selectmen, has resigned. With more than a decade of experience at Town Hall, Ross has worked with three town administrators and three different boards. Now she is moving on, she says, to explore new career opportunities.
According to Ross, her departure is bittersweet. Since she began working in Harvard in 1997, she has grown to know the inner workings of town government well, and she has appreciated the ethic of volunteerism that makes the town run.
While Ross’ official last day is December 20, she plans to continue working for the town in a limited capacity. She has committed to help with the Town Report and will also help to maintain the town’s website until her successor is up to speed.
Ross’ next step will be to work in the legal affairs department at Nypro, a plastics company in Clinton.
