Concert organizers thank supporters

November 30, 2007

After two months of preparation, Harvard celebrated its first Thanksgiving classical concert at the Harvard Public Library last Saturday evening. As the organizers of the concert, we would like to thank all the people involved in the production. We would not have pulled it off without the generous donations of our sponsors, whose names and advertisements appeared in our concert program. The performers, including Justin Bartlett, members of the Bromfield chorus, the Bromfield string quartet, Talia Mercadante, and Charles Kronauer, took the extra effort to prepare and polish their program, as was evident in their outstanding musical performance. We would also like to acknowledge the Harvard Public Library trustees who, with utmost patience, spent several hours at the library to ensure that musicians could rehearse in Volunteers Hall.

We are indebted to the town papers for featuring us in their articles and calendars. It was with your help that we received such a large audience. And to the audience, we thank you a thousand times. Volunteers Hall was renovated for events such as this, and it is only appropriate that the hall be filled with supporters of the arts.
