Tom Cooke
, son of David and Lynn Cooke of Depot Road, recently earned his Eagle Scout rank as part of Harvard’s Troop 1. His Eagle Scout service project involved cleaning up Barba’s Point and building and installing four rustic benches. The point is accesible from a path by the Bromfield tennis courts and is a public access point for Bare Hill Pond. Tom put in 45 hours on the project, which spanned nine months. He also coordinated the volunteer efforts of his family and more than a dozen Boy Scouts.
