The ambulance team took a Stow Road man to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 5:57 a.m. While mowing the lawn at Bromfield, a DPW employee hit a car with a rock, causing minor damage reported to dispatch at 9:39 a.m. A false residential alarm rang at a Tahanto Trail home at 11:20 a.m. A Granite View Lane homeowner reported hearing the sound of mailbox vandalism at 8:23 p.m., but when police checked the area they found no evidence of suspicious activity.
Wednesday, May 9
A Shaker Road woman was taken to Emerson Hospital at 10:18 a.m. A man with a disabled car parked by the side of Ayer Road was found to be driving without a valid license at 3:15 p.m. His car was towed from the scene, and he was given a summons to Clinton District Court. At 5:32 p.m., a man driving on Oak Hill Road called police to tell them he had driven over a woodchuck. Police asked a landscaping company working late on a Littleton County Road home to stop work at 11:03 p.m.
Thursday, May 10
A Blanchard Road man called for an ambulance at 2:08 a.m., and was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. A Harvard woman driving a Jeep on Westcott Road called police to report a minor accident after she swerved to avoid a deer just before 5:23 a.m. At 11:53 a.m., a woman from West Bare Hill Road called for an ambulance, and was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. A 5-year-old boy staying with his aunt in Bolton was reported to police as missing at 3:38 p.m. After being put down for a nap, he escaped from the home and wandered to the front door of a neighbor on Scott Road, who also contacted police. He was returned to the home of the aunt in short order. A Harvard man came into the station asking for information on resident sex offenders in town at 5:09 p.m. He was given the appropriate paperwork to fill out when requesting this type of information. A Bromfield student came into the station at 5:42 p.m. to report that his truck was “keyed” in the school parking lot. A Park Lane resident reported minor mailbox damage at 6 p.m.
Friday, May 11
A Cleaves Hill Road woman was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center by ambulance at 1:49 p.m. A caller reported someone throwing things off the Route 2 bridge on Littleton Road at 5:26 p.m. After thoroughly investigating the area, police were unable to find any evidence of suspicious activity. An Old Littleton Road woman called dispatch to report noisy children walking up and down the road at 9:55 p.m. Police were unable to locate the children in question.
Saturday, May 12
A Mass. Avenue woman was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center by ambulance at 2:18 p.m. A visitor to Bellevue Cemetery reported another visitor driving on the grass at 2:55 p.m. Police located the driver in question, but there was no visible damage to the lawn, and the matter was resolved at the scene. A Littleton County Road woman reported the sound of “someone pulling a wagon” at 9:28 p.m. Police checked the area, but did not find anyone matching that description.
Sunday, May 13
A Shaker village resident reported an injured fox near Stonecutters Path at 8:20 a.m. Police notified the animal control officer. A woman from Stow Road reported witnessing a driving violation at 5:06 p.m. She was given paperwork to fill out regarding the incident. A caller reported a “car screeching its tires” near Depot and Mill roads at 5:58 p.m. Police were unable to locate the car. Boxborough police asked Harvard police to be on the lookout for a motorcycle with revoked plates at 7:27 p.m. Harvard police did not find the vehicle in town. A Stow Road woman was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 8:01 p.m.
Monday, May 14
A Harvard woman came into the station at 10:02 a.m. to ask for advice about harassing phone calls she had received. Police advised her to contact her phone company for help. A woman was taken from Ayer Road by ambulance to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 12:15 p.m. A domestic dispute on Stow Road was the subject of a call to police at 4:01 p.m. The matter was resolved in the home. A Harvard resident called police at 9:08 p.m. to voice concern for the safety of the crew boats stored at the beach.
