Need input for audit goals

May 25, 2007

The audit subcommittee of the Special Education Task Force has been authorized by the Annual Town Meeting to conduct an independent programmatic audit of the special education program. As we begin this process, we will be holding a public meeting to gain input from the community. We are hoping to gain more understanding of the concerns Harvard citizens have about the special education program and their goals for this audit.

The public meeting will be held Monday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the high school library. We urge all interested people to attend, or to send us their written comments. Written comments can be mailed or delivered to the selectmen’s office in Town Hall, or emailed to the committee c/o Valeska Ross, vross@harvard.ma.us.

Bob Eubank, chairman
Special Education Audit Subcommittee
