Those who stayed late at last Saturday’s Annual Town Meeting witnessed Bob Lerner stepping down as chairman of the Harvard Housing Authority. Although Bob will continue as a member of the authority following his election this week to a two-year term, he decided that it was “time for a change.” Bob has been the guiding light of the authority for many years. We know all the past and present members of the authority wish to thank Bob for his years of service, his wisdom as its chair, and his determination to make affordable senior housing a reality in Harvard.
