Zupancic wins third in regional science far

, Cameron Road, won third place in the Worcester Regional Science Fair Friday, March 9, for her project titled “The Effects of High-Intensity Ultrasound on Trapa Natans.” Zupancic’s project sought to determine if high-frequency ultrasound could eradicate water chestnut plants. In addition, she won a third-place award from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, as well as a Naval Science award. Zupancic will go on to compete in the Massachusetts State Science Fair at MIT in early May.
