Making beautiful music

March 23, 2007

Bromfield hosted the New England Music Festival last weekend. More than 450 of the best high school singers and musicians in the region braved the weather and performed at Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday after only two days of practice.

The alto section of the 260-voice chorus rehearses in the Congregational Church.

In Cronin Auditorium, the trumpet section, including Bromfield’s Timothy Smetana (far left), performs with the band.

Estlin Usher of Shoreham, Vermont, plays first violin with the orchestra.

Bromfield’s Paul Jordan Talbot (left) sings with the tenors.

Bromfield’s Kristina Kronauer (center) plays viola in the orchestra.
