Many of us in town were delighted to see the new Harvard Press appear; it reminded us of the good old days with the Harvard Post. However, many of us have been disappointed with your paper’s coverage of the teacher contract negotiations—coverage that seemed biased and less-than-thoroughly researched.
Even more disappointing was Laura Andrews’s article last week on the special education audit that named a current and a former member of the School Committee; this was irresponsible and wrong. The people implicated by this article deserved fairer treatment, as did their families.
