Interim Town Administrator
Lorraine Leonard, finance director and chief procurement officer, will serve as interim town administrator, with assistance from Valeska Ross, the selectmen’s executive assistant, until a new town administrator is in place.
2005 Annual Town Report
The board congratulated Executive Assistant Valeska Ross for her role in preparing the 2005 Annual Town Report, which placed second in its population category in the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s (MMA) yearly contest. Harvard’s 2004 report placed third in the contest, as did its 1998 report. Harvard is in the 5,000-to-12,499-resident category. According to the MMA website, “judging criteria include: attractiveness of the report cover and layout, material arrangement, presentation of statistics and data, summary of the year’s achievements, evidence of local planning for the future, and the report’s practical utility.”
