Aeronautical engineer, longtime Harvard resident

Bruce Marshal Morgan, age 83, of Lancaster and formerly a longtime resident of Harvard, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at Health Alliance Clinton Hospital in Leominster. He was the beloved husband of 65 years of Marylin (Caloyianis) Morgan.
Born in Riverside, Connecticut, on Nov. 22, 1936, he was the only child and loving son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Traband) Morgan. Bruce graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He married Marylin on Oct. 25, 1955, in Greenville, North Carolina, and soon moved to Harvard, where together they raised their loving family.
Bruce had a long, distinguished, and rewarding career as an aeronautical engineer with Raytheon Corporation for over 25 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed extensive travel with his wife, sailing off the coast of Georgetown, Maine, and a quality single malt scotch. He cherished the time with his wife, children, and granddaughter.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his granddaughter Moira A. Morgan of Greenville, New Hampshire, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Vikki Jeanne Morgan and son Lance Franklin Morgan.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Bruce at his memorial service on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. A period of visitation will follow until 3:30 p.m. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery, Harvard, will be private.
