VOICES OF THE MIDDLE EAST
Syrian composer Kareen Roustroum is steeped in the musical traditions of the Near East and trained in western classical and jazz. He has collaborated with a wide variety ranging from the Kronos Quartet to Shakira. WCMS musicians and Neighborhood Strings will perform several of his pieces.
This concert series is free and informal, focused on bringing the community together through music.
