The Ambulance Service responded to 11 calls and transported seven people to Emerson Hospital, four with Advanced Life Support services on board. The ambulance responded to three motor vehicle crashes and provided one lift assist
Wednesday, Sept. 11
At 9:51 a.m. firefighters were called to a crash on Interstate 495 northbound, but the call was canceled while they were on the way. At 11:06 a.m. an alarm at the Village Nursery School turned out to be from the septic system, not a fire alarm.
Thursday, Sept. 12
At 7:11 a.m. Engines 2 and 4, as well as the ambulance, responded to a two-car collision on Route 2 eastbound, and firefighters helped clear up debris; the ambulance transported one person. At 8:37 a.m. there was a false alarm from a Littleton County Road home.
Saturday, Sept. 14
At 9:40 a.m. Engines 2 and 4 and the ambulance were called to the Stow Road crash; firefighters helped with traffic control, and one person refused ambulance transport.
Monday, Sept. 16
At 10:57 a.m. someone came to the Public Safety Building for help in removing a ring that was stuck on their finger; an ambulance crew member was able to cut off the ring.
