Rollstone Bank & Trust donates $10,000 to Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network

Press release submitted by Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust today announced it has donated $10,000 to Montachusett Interfaith Hospitality Network, Inc. (MIHN) to assist in its mission to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive assistance to homeless families with children and to increase community involvement in direct services and advocacy in Northern Worcester County.

“Supporting MIHN’s work helps our neighbors and our community and we’re proud to lend a hand,” said Martin F. Connors, Jr., President & CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “The families – especially the children – depend on MIHN for the most basic of human needs: shelter, food and a place to feel safe. No child should have to worry about that.”

The funds from the grant will be used to help support shelter operations, basic client needs and direct services to the families.

“We are grateful for the continuing support from Rollstone Bank & Trust as we serve the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Dr. Jon Hogue, Executive Director of MIHN. “As the only agency serving homeless families in our community, we are continually striving to grow. These funds will keep us moving forward in that mission to serve our most vulnerable community members: the children.”
