Three candidates vying for two seats on the Board of Selectmen: It’s this year’s only Town Election race, and one that comes as Harvard debates changes to the structure of its municipal government and the renovation of Hildreth Elementary School, which could be the largest capital project ever undertaken by the town.
The three candidates are Ed Moussouris, a new name on the ballot; Ken Swanton, current chairman of the selectmen; and Kara Minar, current chairwoman of the Planning Board. The Press interviewed all three, posing the same eight questions to each candidate.
The three candidates are the featured debaters at next week’s Candidates Night. The event, sponsored by the Harvard League of Women Voters and the Harvard Press, will be held in Volunteers Hall at the town library Monday, March 20, at 7 p.m. Read the interviews and then come to Volunteers Hall with questions for three citizens who have stepped forward to serve their town.
